Pledge & Participate

The main objective of the Timeraiser is to connect people that want to volunteer with organizations that need their help. Period. To that end, we ask each person that attends to pledge 20 hours to one or more of our 40 partner organizations. You will hear a lot about The Pledge throughout your Timeraiser experience – it’s part of what makes this process unique. When registering to attend the Timeraiser you will be asked to review and accept The Pledge. Here is your advance copy:

"By registering for the Framework Timeraiser, I am making a pledge to contribute 20 volunteer hours to my community within 12 months.

As part of this pledge, I acknowledge that the Framework Timeraiser will, within reason, help direct my energy and skills to meaningful community building opportunities.

In return, I will assist the Framework Timeraiser in promoting volunteerism by keeping track of my volunteer activities so that we can all show the impact a group of committed citizens can have in building stronger communities."
